Doctor Daniel Clearfield is a Board-Certified physician in Primary Care Sports Medicine as well as Family Medicine & Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. He has the ability to treat all varieties of athletic, overuse, and degenerative (wear and tear) injuries and conditions in all ages of patients and athletes.
Dr. Clearfield has extensive training in diagnostic musculoskeletal/sports ultrasound (MSK-US) and ultrasound-guided injections, regenerative orthopedic medicine (including cell therapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), prolotherapy, extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT), & alpha-2-macroglobulin (A2M)), percutaneous needle tenotomy (PNT), nerve blocks and hydrodissection, casting/splinting and fracture management, joint and soft tissue injections and aspirations, concussion management utilizing ImPACT, XLNT Brain and SCAT testing modalities, ECG interpretation in athletes, osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), auricular hematoma management, ingrown toenail and fingernail removal, and other procedures germane to outpatient sports medicine.
Dr. Clearfield has experience working with all ages and levels of athletes including NCAA Divisions I, II & III, Olympian, NFL, XFL, NHL, USA Wrestling, USA Judo, USA Volleyball, US Amateur Boxing, MMA and WWE. Additionally, he serves as an Official Team Physician for the XFL’s San Antonio Brahmas, for Team USA Wrestling, Team USA Judo, and the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee. Dr. Clearfield has been awarded numerous accolades in the field of Sports Medicine and has been recognized as a DFW Top Doctor in Sports Medicine consistently since 2013. He is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker in the field of sports medicine and he has covered sporting events all over the world.

Sarina Clearfield has been serving as the Office Manager of Motion is Medicine since May 2019. She grew up in Arlington, Texas where she attended Martin High School and was an athlete on the swim team. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas in Arlington earning her Bachelors in Business Management. Sarina completed a Master of Science in Lifestyle Health Sciences and Coaching at the UNT Health Science Center in 2021. She now offers Lifestyle Management & Health Coaching services through Motion is Medicine to provide offerings in health and wellness to our patients. Sarina is a fitness enthusiast, enjoying spending time at the gym and participating in outdoor activities. She also competes as an amateur bodybuilder in the fitness category. Most importantly, she loves spending time with her family, husband Dr. Daniel Clearfield, and children, Hannah, Campbell, Lainey, & Scarlett.
View BioRaquel Ramos joined the Motion is Medicine team in 2023, where she serves as a Medical & Administrative Assistant. She is a Texas Wesleyan University alumnus, where she majored in Business Administration and minored in Biology. She is a graduate from the International Dance Academy, where she currently serves as a dance teacher. She also works with USA Boxing as both a coach & official. She enjoys being active with sporting activities, her favorite sports are boxing and baseball.
