Trigger Point Injections

Trigger points are tight areas, or “knots” within muscle tissue that can cause pain to radiate to other parts of the body. Normally, they occur either within the muscle itself or within the surrounding fascia, and often are very painful. Trigger point injections uses a small amount of anesthetic fluid to minimize the pain of these points while the needle helps to “unlock” the muscle from its triggered state.
